This was a great vacation with our family and friends. The place was large, clean and had lots of character.
Pros:
- Lots of rooms and bathrooms
- Private beach access!
- Everything in working order
- Lots of toys/games and distractions for the kids (and the adults)
- Great views
- House was fully stocked with everything you'd expect
- Large, open concept with big dining table
- Owner was not very accessible to communicate with, but was very friendly
Cons:
- No A/C - the house got very warm during the mornings/afternoons (3 fans though to help out)
- No cable or internet
- The yard was not useable for the kids
- Directions said to turn off at Timberview Drive, but is actually Lakeview Drive

Overall the pros outweighted the cons and we'd definitely recommend it!

Thank you very much for your comments.

I am happy to announce we have undergone a beautifu, new main floor renovation and we now have cable, WIFI and netflix. The yard in the front has been landscaped with new sod, rock steps and flagstone walkways. The house has been re-insulated and fitted with UV reduction blinds so, it is not nearly as warm as pre-renovation. We still have two standing room oscillating fans to help out. The basement level is always very cool any time of day.

This newly renovated property (NOW WITH AIR CONDITIONING) is a 4 bedroom cottage in the prestigious, wooded community of Timber Ridge Phase III on Lake Windermere, BC and only a short 6 KM drive from the Town of Invermere on the Lake. It is finished in a Cape Cod style with rustic hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings and crisp white and grey tones. The master bath has been redone with dual Kohler sinks and a spa like rain shower.

Timber Ridge is a year-round recreation community that includes gated access to a private park and child's playground, beach area, boat launch, tennis, volleyball, basketball courts and walking trails. Award-winning golf courses, including Grey Wolf, Copper Point and Eagle Ranch, hiking trails and the popular Hot Springs Resorts of Radium and Fairmont are only a short drive. In the winter, the Panorama Ski Resort and Fairmont Ski Resort are each less than 30 min away by car. Skating, snow-shoeing, and shiny hockey are favourite past times on the Lake.

This bright, newly renovated and spacious home is fully equipped and sleeps up to 8 people comfortably with 4 bedrooms, 2 baths and 7 beds. The main level boasts a beautiful white modern country kitchen with stainless appliances and quartz countertops and main island with counter seating. The great room has a gas fireplace and a beautiful Restoration Hardware concrete table and chairs that easily accomodates 8-10 people. The dining area open onto a large deck with comfortable seating and a stainless steel Cusinart propane BBQ. The deck overlooks a spacious, treed backyard with mountain views. Other amenities include: 50" Plasma TV, Blue Ray/DVD player/ Netflix, Boccie, croquet sets and standing metal fire pit provided. This rental is child friendly. A high chair, Pack and Play, baby gate, books and toys are provided for your convenience.

The parking and deck areas are completed as are the common use areas including tennis, volleyball, basketball and lake area.
