Enjoy a hot tub with an unbelievable view of the dark night starry sky away from the city lights or, when the snow allows access to the yard, enjoy a campfire in our huge firepit. We are a 10-minute drive to Bragg Creek and 15 minutes to Kananaskis Country – the playground at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. In the nearby Hamlett of Bragg Creek, you will find a grocery store, coffee shops with high-speed internet, restaurants, a playground, an outdoor skating rink, and various artisan shops. Historic Banff National Park and Canmore are an easy day trip away. Nearby there are endless opportunities for hiking, cycling, snowshoeing, golfing, x-country skiing, horseback riding and other mountain activities (kayaking, fishing etc.). Guidebooks are available in the suite and your hosts, who have lived in the area for 25+ years, can also provide tips on local off-the-beaten-track gems. Our location is rural. Our water comes from a well and is clear, safe and tastes great. We have a septic system, and we will leave instructions and cleaning products that keep it working well. We have satellite TV with more channels, including movie channels, than you will be able to watch on the 52" television. We also have satellite internet, which works great for emails, internet searches, Zoom or Skype meetings and so on (your guests work from home and require internet). We are normally able to stream Netflix, but not always. Depending on your service provider, our cell phone service can be spotty. Nearby Bragg Creek has high speed internet and a good cell signal. To keep you safe, we have installed a motion light outside the main entrance to the suite. The suite has a smoke detector, C02 detector, and a fire extinguisher. We have also installed a keyless entry so that you can have contactless entry into the suite. Between guests, we sanitize all surfaces, including doorknobs, light switches, and other high touch areas. All bedding, towels etc. Are washed in hot soapy water and the suite has a provision of extra linens etc. In case you need them. We also leave the suite empty for 24 hours between guests.
