Given the warm climate, it is so nice to have the choice to be in the shade or bright sun in all places in the house all through the day. We have stayed in the most beautiful places all over the world and this one really stands out. The pool beckons and is big enough for the whole family to play. Every room has its own en suite and balcony with views of the old city and bright azure sea. We are picky in our accommodations and everything in this place delighted us and exceeded our expectations. The hosts... Were exceptionally accommodating and very understanding. The Lidl market next door was so convenient, Oliva wood fired pizza one block away is not to be missed-the family who owns it makes you feel like family-and the walk into the old city center couldn’t be more pleasant. We found several ways to enter depending on whether we wanted to walk by the river, the sea, the Old Fort or just go straight to the heart of the action-every route was 10-15 minutes. The harbor and the beach were both close and easily accessible, not more than 10-15 minutes walk. The house itself is spacious, nicely appointed, stylish and artistic with everything you need. The tile floors are perfect for the climate and heated in the bathrooms if your toes are cold in the morning. The neighbors are nice and the neighborhood is quiet and picturesque. The main coast with it's superb long sandy beach at Armacao De Pera is less than 5 minutes away and the sea can be viewed from the main upstairs balcony. Two of the Algarves best water parks are within 10 minutes drives as is the Zoomarine park. Golfers are in for a treat at the nearby newly opened Nick Faldo and Christy O' Connor, courses plus Pinto, Gramacho, Silves, Pennina and many more. The pottery village of Porches is also close by as is the larger resort of Carvoeiro. Albufeira is only 15 minutes drive. There are several local restaurants within 10 to 15 minutes walk and many more options within 5 minutes by taxi or car. Whilst the villa comfortably sleeps parties of 12 adults plus cots , we do also have several clients in groups as low as 4 people . These smaller groups tend to stay outside of peak weeks when we can be more flexible with pricing for smaller groups.

Our property has been completely refurbished over the last 3 years. We offer a luxury private villa only 5 minutes walk from the sea front in Olhao. Our property bedrooms are all spacious and ensuite with rain shower, lots of natural light, luxury furniture and AIR CONDITIONING. The outside space offers you 2 large terraces on the first floor. On the ground floor we have our swimming pool ( 5 metres by 3 metres) which has bench seating and cushions around the pool . In this area there is a selection of seating to eat or relax out doors around the pool area. Inside we have a fully fitted kitchen, lounge area, dinning table which seats 12 guests and a relaxing couch by the open fire. Beside the property is a public car park where you can always find a few spaces throughout the day. In Olhao there is a great range of restaurants ( many offering fresh seafood), shops, bars and culture centres. Opposite Olhao is the area of Ria Formosa - a collection of small islands with long white sandy beaches and much more. You can take the boats over to the islands and enjoy this area. Alternatively you can drive along the coast to Faro, or towards Tavira or even Spain. Our Villa is a traditional 3 bedrooms villa with a private swimming pool and a fantastic location in short walk to the Praia Da Oura Strip. The beach is about 12 minutes walk / 900m. Praia Da Oura has a wide choice of shops, bars and restaurants along its kilometer-long strip, ideal for lively vacation. In addition, the famous town of Albufeira, with many activities, is less than 5 minutes away by car. Wifi, air conditioning and heating in the rooms are included. Travel cot and babies accessories are included upon request. Parking in front of the house. Weekly booking are from Saturday to Saturday with a minimum of 5 nights.

Situated on the Quinta da Saudade. The Quinta da Saudade is a small British-run estate of privately-owned villas. It occupies approximately twenty-four acres about five miles west of Albufeira. The Quinta nestles in the peaceful country setting of an old hillside farm estate. It is surrounded by orange, almond and olive trees and is about forty-five minutes drive from the Airport at Faro. The nearest beach is less than two miles away. It is a magnificent long stretch of sand, bounded by dunes, where you can escape the crowds, even in August. There are two swimming pools, a children’s play area and shallow pool. The Quinta also has a tennis court, table tennis, petanque and crazy golf in the orchard. On site is a restaurant and bar in the old farmhouse. And there is a pool bar open throughout the day. The Riding Stables at the Quinta da Saudade have some fabulous horses that are available for gallops across the dunes or slow hacks through the countryside. There are attractive country walks in the vicinity and there is a wetlands nature reserve nearby with a wealth of bird and plant life not commonly found in the UK.
