Fishing is a big part of this area. The Chilliwack (Vedder) River is a world-class river known for its runs of steelhead, coho, chums, and chinook. For those interested in a unique fishing experience, guided sturgeon fishing on the Fraser River is only a 30 minute drive away! Chilliwack Lake & the numerous hikes around it is only a 30 minute drive and Cultus Lake (well known for activities such as waterskiing, picnics, and swimming) is only about 20 minutes away. Our studio cabin is 300 sq feet and has a kitchenette, bathroom, tv/dvd, & either a King size bed or 2 twins. Enjoy our hammock in the summer and our 550sq foot covered deck throughout the year. Amazing location for a romantic getaway (or for friends!) without being too remote. Come enjoy all the outdoors has to offer in gorgeous Chilliwack River Valley!

There's a bose bluetooth speaker system if you'd like to play some tunes, netflix already set up, and there are usb wall chargers in the bedrooms so if you forgot to pack yours, no worries. After a day on the slopes, there are so many ways you can undwind and relax - bask in your private hot tub, cool off in the two person steam shower, cozy up next to the fire in bathrobes provided for your use, or say "namaste" and do some yoga on the mats, with foam rollers for muscle release. This home has a king bed with an eiderdown duvet in the master bedroom (with an ensuite bathroom and two bathrobes), a queen bed in the second bedroom (with two bathrobes), and a tri-bunk trundle in the third bedroom. Each mattress is brand new made with high density pressure relieving foam so expect to be well rested and ready to wrangle the hill. There's also a travel crib and booster seat for a little one. Being there in the summer, we enjoyed the short stroll to the village for dinner & ice cream, the short drive to hefley lake for paddle boarding/swimming, an adventure to mcgillivray lake for canoeing, and visited 3 amazing vineyards. We left still wanting to see some unexplored areas - lots of fun things to do. This would be an outstanding spot during ski season but don't underestimate the summer. For supplies, there is a small grocery store about five km from the cottage, and larger grocery stores in the towns of Lunenburg and Bridgewater. My own family have been coming here from childhood. The cottage is not available in late July or August because it will be filled with our children and grandchildren.
