It is a favorite family vacation home in the middle off a wonderful garden of 1500 square meters, with grass and trees offering lot of shadow corners . It has two floors. Upper floor is the main bedroom, a bathroom and an assisting open loft with a double bed, usually used for the kids. So 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids) can sleep upstairs. Ground floor. There is a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher), a dining area and a small WC. Two steps further down is the Living room, (with open fireplace, TV and a double sofa-bed), leading out onto the garden and the raised courtyard with pergola and a built-in barbecue. The BBQ area is awesome and you will enjoy grilling fresh fish or souvlaki almost every night. There is also a separate guest house with a double bed and a bathroom with shower. It has entrance from the garden and may accommodate two more persons. In the back gardens there is a small melon field which supply the family and guests with herbs and salads of the season. OUTDOOR There is a lovely garden that runs the full length of the property; is equipped with chairs and cushions, and it is adorned with fragrant jasmine, vines, hibiscus, and large terracotta pots overflowing with flowers. This quaint outdoor cocktail terrace for anything from evening drinks to morning coffee with spectacular views of the Amalfi Coast and the Galli Island. INTERIOR (300m²) the villa is distributed on two levels.On the ground floor garden level, there are two sitting rooms, with vaulted ceilings (about 3.40 mt high) a big double suite, a small suite, a fully equipped kitchen, two tables for outside dinner stands on the two opposite sides of the garden. The house is exquisitely furnished with antiques. The dining room, sitting room, and bedrooms have traditional vaulted ceilings and terracotta floors. All rooms have glass doors that open to face the ocean and the garden. Please note thet the SMALL SUITE, is a very small bed room with a very low ceiling at about less than 2mt from the floor, it has a little bathroom all complete and with shower, is perfect for children but it is a little small for adults also if the rest of the aprtment is big with high celings (abot 4 mt hig) and the garden out side, in fact in Positano you will not spend a lot of time is the bed room. But i want my guests to have no bad suprises from the apartment description and to know exactly what they rent for. The upper level, first floor, have a living/dining room with vaulted ceilings and terracotta floors. The room is decorated in an elegant, colorful, coastal style and is furnished with a round dining table that seats four people. French doors lead out onto a small balcony. There are two spacious, airy bedrooms decorated in green, blue, and white. One has a queen size bed, an en suite bathroom (with tub and handheld showerhead), and French doors that lead to the terrace. The second bedroom has two twin beds, 85cm x 185cm (slightly narrower and shorter than U.S. Standard single beds), an en suite bathroom (with shower), and windows that offer a lovely view. The small (yet fully equipped) kitchen has been newly renovated and features attractive, locally-made blue tile. There is an “L”-shaped terrace that wraps around the rear of the house and back towards the entrance. The terrace is equipped with chairs and cushions, and it is adorned with fragrant jasmine, vines, and large terracotta pots overflowing with geraniums. Lovely restaurant at the bottom of the hill (highly recommend). The owner kindly left a bottle of wine at the villa as well as some condiments. The owner was always on hand with any queries. There are lots of nearby interesting places to explore, including the medieval market town of Dinan, which is just 10 minutes' drive away.
