    For a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Approximately 10 minutes south of Penticton, the property is only 293 steps from "Pioneer Park", Kaleden's water front park, offering warm water, a beautiful sandy beach, well marked swimming area, grassy picnic areas with picnic tables available, play ground, tennis courts, and a multipurpose court with basketball hoops. A washroom/changing room area is well maintained. This park was the reason we first moved to Kaleden, it is why people come here to visit. You will be renting the main floor and loft of our home (we live in a separate suite in the basement with our own driveway and entrance). You will have a 1900 square foot open concept home with three bedrooms, two bath, kitchen with granite counter tops, vaulted living room, and a loft area with a TV. Our Master Bedroom - a romantic sanctuary- featuring a queen size bed with a down duvet, large en-suite with soaker tub and separate steam shower. A gas fireplace is shared between the bedroom and en-suite. Garden doors open up to the hot-tub located on the deck so you can soak and stare at the stars. Two other bedrooms feature down duvets and share the main bathroom which has a separate tub and shower. The living room boasts 18 windows to the lofted ceiling, letting in a lot of natural light, to say the least. The house has central air conditioning and ceiling fans to help keep your stay comfortable and most windows are treated with solar film to help keep the sun's heat outside. The loft is quite a large area with a TV, Blu-ray player, cable with some HD channels. There is also a desk and chair. Some books and DVD's are provided, but we are not great collectors so it is a small collection. Please note that parking is limited to two vehicles, with no "on street parking". Trailers or motor-homes will not work on our street as it is narrow and fairly steep with no room for a large vehicle to turn around.

    Our home is situated directly across the street from the Penticton Safety Village, a kids playground, and a large park/ball field. Our home is surrounded by large maple and evergreen trees, and located within walking distance to downtown, IGA, coffee shops, restaurants, and Penticton Plaza which has a Safeway store, neighborhood pub, and government liquor store. We have a private backyard, 20 X 70 ft, all stamped cement, with hot tub, patio furniture, bbq, surrounded by a 6 ft high cedar fence. We have recently built a 10x12 guest house in our backyard, with a futon bed and upper bunk, which increases our sleeping capacity to 14 (8 beds). Our guest house also has an air conditioner, 2pc ensuite and an outside shower. The front yard has a courtyard, again all stamped cement, with chimnea (wood burning fireplace), another 50 inch Panasonic plasma TV, with DVD/VCR, and a nice view, great for a peaceful evening outside. We have also recently built a fish pond with waterfall in our front yard. Please check out our photos. We have Wireless Internet throughout the house and Shaw phone system which means you get "FREE UNLIMITED" calling anywhere within Canada and USA anytime of the day. ENJOY!!!

She will not be in the house where you will be staying but in case you are allergic, I want guests to know before hand as I do accept pets on certain conditions. This is a pet friendly home, however its your duty to do doggie duty, please be respectful and clean up after your dog ! This is a wonderful wedding venue for an intimate gathering, family reunion, couples get away, or small groups. There is always sleeping bag room for extra guests or children. ****For the 9th and 10th occupants the owners can set up spare beds in the lower room to accommodate everyone. **** Complimentary sparkling Wine, coffee beans, teas and spices, olive oils and balsamic and what ever is in the kitchen is for the guest use. All beds are new condition, and are vacuumed and deodorized on a regular bases. All mattress covers are laundered after each guest. The garage is a salon from which the owner works part time, with a self contained separate entrance of course. The basement is also self contained space for the owner,where personal belongings are kept, extra storage. Guests have access for emergecies. If the power goes out. Respect and privacy for the guests during their holiday is most important. At certain times where more space is needed the salon opens up to another suite with a full bathroom and door connecting to main house as is basement. Our home has a lot of storage in the workshop for your biking, skiing and golfing equipment and enough parking for your cars, boats and RV’s.     What a view. Situated just off the highway at the south end of Penticton on the north shore of Skaha Lake, is a new family home in the new luxury resort style community known as Skaha Hills. What you get: -an incredible view of Skaha Lake that can be walked to within 10 minutes. Our home is set on the hillside amongst Vineyards and just steps away from a Winery and Bistro (estimated opening date in spring of 2016). -a gourmet kitchen with quartz countertops and highend appliances. A Gas BBQ and a huge deck to enjoy meals, morning coffees, or a glass of wine over looking Skaha Lake. -There are 3-4 bedrooms in the house, one currently set up as a nursery, one master bedroom (king size bed), and two bedrooms (one with a queen, and one with a queen and bunk beds). The beds can be rearranged to suit your needs - the bunk beds can be moved to the nursery or downstairs living room, or left as they are with the nursery closed off. There is enough room to spread out yet still feeling homey in a modern home. Outside there is lots of lounging space, a small yard, a horseshoe pit, and room for other outdoor games. What Penticton has to offer: -the wineries. The beaches. The warm weather. A float down the river channel. Penticton is the perfect get away for a couple, family or group of adult friends. Enjoy the Okanagan sunshine from the large stamped concrete patio with a view from lake to lake. This home was made for entertaining. There is a very private fenced backyard with nice grassy area and trampoline for the kids. We also have a toddler bed and play pen for use as well. There is a large, sunny lush backyard for fun and games, complete with apple, plum and cherry trees. A "Secret Garden" shady, quiet space allows for more relaxing times. The location is private, overlooking Skaha Lake, with gorgeous mountain and vineyard views, in a quiet neighborhood near Eastside Rd. In Skaha Estates, only 3 mins away on Laguna Lane, you will find Skaha Estates private community beach. There are very shallow warm waters here, with good boat access and a swimming dock. At this secluded beach, there is a large sunny expanse of lawn with tall pine trees for shade, and a lovely long beach front. The town of Okanagan Falls is a short drive for more fantastic beaches, a lovely walking path, a GREAT kidz splash pad and park, and groceries or gas. Attractions in "the Falls" include the Okanagan Falls Market, the KVR (Kettle Valley Rail) hiking/ biking trail, and the KVR (jump off!) train trestle. A leisurely visit to TickleBerries Ice Cream is always mandatory afterwards. Spring, summer, fall: beaches, boating, kayaks, hiking, golf courses galore, rock climbing at Skaha Bluffs, mountain biking, cross country biking, road biking and award winning wineries just out the door. Winter months, Dec.- mid April, find world class winter steeps, skiing, skating, snowshoeing, and "apres- fun", all up the hill at Apex Mountain resort, and only 30 minutes away. To the south, you will find MORE fun and SUN at Mount Baldy. About 60 minutes away, and as at Apex, Mt. Baldy has MORE fun skiers and staff, excellent Champagne powder snow, new glade runs and spectacular above the treeline skiing. Come visit during ANY season to enjoy the beautiful Okanagan Valley, and stay at beautiful Sunny Bay Estate.
