Sail, canoe or swim, all from our dock. There is a lakeside bar/changeroom inspired by Jimmy Buffet called the Taki Tiki . Swing on a rope into the lake or cruise using a the still waters in an antique cedar strip canoe (no powerboats allowed). Take the family out on "The Princess barge using the electric motor. Fish for trout and bass. Rods at the bar. Hiking trails are nearby and The Bear Mountain Golf Course, Athletic Club and Yoga place is a 15 minute drive. Walk to a 5 plex state of the art movie theatre or ride the opposite way for miles on the Galloping Goose cycle trail. Stunning lake views from the front deck and windows. Gazebo with garden roof and pathway through more garden and fruit trees to the lake down the other side. Tall evergreens on opposite shore where bald eagles nest. The upper floor is a large master suite (four twin beds, bean bag chairs and flat screen tv) with an ensuite (two sinks, Jacuzzi tub, shower and toilet) and breathtaking views of the mountains. The main floor also has a master bedroom (1 queen bed) with an ensuite (sink, tub/shower and toilet). There is also a second bedroom (two twin beds) on the main floor which has a 2-pce ensuite. The kitchen and eating area is huge and there is a very large formal dining room. The rest of the main floor has a large living room with a music area, a powder room and a laundry room. A few notable features include: air conditioning, piano and drum kit, sprinkler system, pool table, 2 large flat screen TVs, and WiFi. The rec room in the basement is perfect for families as it provides entertainment both night and day. The spacious room includes a pool table, foosball table and numerous sports equipment and a large leather couch to lounge on while watching your favourite movie on the 60 inch flat screen TV. This house is adjacent to a quiet park with a play set and is a superb family location. There are no pets and no smoking allowed. There is an occupied basement suite with a separate entrance around the back of the home. The tenant is a single mature Government employee who works long hours.
