How to Get Here & Getting Around - At the gateway to the Okanagan and Similkameen Valley lies Canada’s only desert and the delightful lakeside town of Osoyoos. Located at the junction of two major highways (Highway 97 and Highway 3) at the southern tip of the Okanagan Valley. Osoyoos is only 2 km away from the Canada-U.S. border and shares Osoyoos Lake with Washington State. By air, Penticton and Kelowna airports have regular flights to and from Vancouver and Calgary connecting all other major destinations. From there, you can ride a cab or a shuttle, or rent a car.

The town is small enough that getting around on foot or bike is suitable. As with most destinations in the Okanagan, getting around by car is the best way to see all the sights.

When to Go - The area boasts its own climate called “Osoyoos Arid Biotic Zone” - Canada’s lowest annual precipitation, warmest annual temperature, and warmest freshwater lake can be found here.
