Our property, which is walking distance from town of Atenas where one can do grocery shopping either in supermarket or in the market. The house offers peace and tranquillity with beautiful views of Central Valley. Right from the walkout one can take a picture of a hummingbird, mot-mot, toucan, parrot or woodpecker. It is an ideal way to experience what you prefer. Tourism, simple relaxation, shopping or combination of all. Low humidity with temperatures of 80-85 degrees during the day and 70-80 at night. As described by National Geographic magazine, Atenas has the best climate in the world, comfortable 24 hours a day. Atenas is only 30 minutes drive from San Jose International airport and it is a perfect place from where one can make day trips to places like Volcan Poas, Orosi Valley, Volcan Irazu, La Paz Gardens, etc. Going west it is less than one hour drive to Pacific Ocean. Places like Jaco Beach, Playa Herradura and Manuel Antonio National Park are all within reach of one day trip. For people without car Atenas is an ideal place to be used as a base to explore the area using public transportation. Frequent bus connections to San Jose, Alajuela and other places are available. Costa Rica is the most bio-diverse region in the world with numerous national parks, biological reserves and series of protected areas. It is a paradise for nature lovers.

Payment Methods
For payments made via credit card and/or Paypal, there is a 2.90 percent surcharge. PayPal, Visa, Master Card, Amex, Money Order or Cashiers Cheque, Direct Bank Deposit
Booking Deposit
The booking is confirmed with a deposit of 20 percent of the rent. Long Term Stay booking is confirmed with a deposit that is 20 percent of the rent.
Payment Balance
Balance of payment is due on arrival.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation within 14 days of arrival, the booking deposit is non-refundable.
Security or Damage Deposit
A refundable security/damage deposit of 500.00 USD is due on arrival. Long term rentals may be subject to a larger deposit.
