Loon Mountain is a mountain in Lincoln, New Hampshire, in Grafton County. It is in the White Mountain National Forest. The 3,065-foot (934 m) mountain is known for Loon Mountain Ski Resort, which, like most New England mountain resorts, has expanded into an all-season recreation area. The award winning terrain parks has a total of 7 terrain parks, including a new trail, Dropline, home of The Burton Progression Park. Loon's Park Staff makes sure there's terrain for all ability; from the Burton Progression Park where skiers and snowboarders learn about jumps, hits and rails, to the signature Loon Mountain Park and features including the 32-foot high wall ride and the Shaping Shack Hubba.

Loon's Superpipe is 425 feet long with 18-foot walls. Those who don't want to go that big can check out the mini-pipe. Day and night lift-served tubing is available for ages 8 and up on the Little Sister trail. Walk-up tot-tubing is also available. Loon offers guests a variety of snowsports learning programs, including: customizable private lessons (3 hours or all-day), children’s ski camps (ages 3-teen), women-specific programs such as Women’s Peak Performance Camps; telemark clinics; senior programs; season-long programs; and the New England Disabled Sports. Daycare is also available for children 6 weeks and older, and children not yet ready to ski.

Groomed and tracked trails for all abilities surround Loon Mountain for both cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Rentals, lessons, telemark and backcountry equipment is also available. Ice skate rentals are available to guests for use at the outdoor rink located adjacent to the Adventure Center. Loon offers an outdoor climbing wall during the summer season, with routes to challenge all abilities. Harnesses are provided.

Lincoln is the closest town and is the second-largest town by area in New Hampshire. The town is home to the New Hampshire Highland Games and to a portion of Franconia Notch State Park. Set in the White Mountains, large portions of the town are within the White Mountain National Forest. The Appalachian Trail crosses in the northeast.
