Beautiful Location! We enjoyed our stay here so much! Sleeping to the sound of Gore Creek rushing by was such a treat, especially as the creek was super high, so it was really moving! The location can't be beat for proximity to everything that Vail has to offer. The convenience of having a parking space is especially nice, although don't expect to get out during the weekly market. The condo has all the amenities you might need. The only possible area for improvement might be the mattresses - they are a bit hard for my sleeping happiness.

Love - Hate Relationship!! This condo seems to be furnished and appointed in the 1960's! Even the games are from the 60's!! My husband and I travel extensively and stay in many rental units, as well as own a rental unit in Florida. I can say without a doubt that this unit needs to be refurbished worse than any place we've ever encountered. And believe the previous reviews when they say the master bed is extremely hard! It's basically like having a blanket on the floor. We literally couldn't sleep on it.
Now, with all that said, we would definitely stay here again and probably will for years to come! Location, Location, Location! Sitting outside listening to the river run, watching the kids in the creek and listening to music from Up the Creek just can't be beat! But with all that day time activity, the nights are very quite and peaceful! So, if you're looking for a something newer than the 60's, or a place where all the lights work with comfortable furniture, this place is NOT for you!
Can't Beat the Location! Very nice, clean condo. Our 3 teenage daughters loved the location and the fact that they could get anywhere without a long walk or bike ride. It might be a bit small for more than 4 adults. I would say you are paying mostly for the location. Kitchen is very small and utensils really need updating. A decent wine bottle opener would be a good start, along with some larger pans. We've rented 4 VRBOs in Colorado and Hawaii and all had everything we could imagine needing from Kleenex to tinfoil to good toilet paper. Quality of items stocked in this rental was fair to poor. I had to purchase most myself. If that stuff doesn't matter to you than being in the heart of VV is awesome for sure!!

Islers stay in appartment 1 E We visit Vail since many years. So we know our way around there and know that the apartment is located at a top location. The appartment is very nice in general and has a good size. However it would need a little renewal touch, some lights don't work, almost no hot water in the kitchen. It needs way more possibilities to hang all your ski close (more hooks instead of decorations all over...), to put your skies somewhere and not in the little entry where you are out of room anyway.

Vail Ski Trip Great time at Vail, as usual. Condo is in Vail Village walking distance to everything. Pool and Hot Tub are a few steps away. View of Gore Creek and Vail Village from room is great. One important point for some renters. The elevator in the building does NOT go to the first floor. It starts on Floor 2 and goes up. We carried our ski gear up from the parking structure and then down stairs to access the condo upon entry, but used the patio door to take our gear to the car, which we parked on the street, upon exit. Parking garage, and parking spot for this unit, are also tight for larger SUVs. Don't let these points scare you away from this unit. Its in a great location and was comfortable for our group of 2 adult couples.

Management company is local and accessible via phone (weekdays) The only complaint (not really a complaint) is to bring a cart to haul all your stuff from the road. If you park in the garage first, its up and down a couple set of stairs, as the unit is on the first floor.

Village Center 1E Review The rental unit needed some work. The shower head was at the height for a person under 5 feet tall. The unit had alot of nick/nacks that limited the space to put things. The kitchen furnishings (pots and pans) need to be replaced. They are very old with the non stick gone and are of a lesser quality than I would send my kid away to college with. The tv and channels system was not user friendly. The maintenance man made it work as soon as we called. There are so many wires coming out of the back of the living room tv it looks like a possible fire hazard.

March 2012 This condo is in the perfect location in Vail Village, right on the stream and in the center of the action without being loud or too busy. The unit itself is small and dated. The bathrooms are lousy as toilets barely flush and showerheads are so low that you need to be a pigmy to take a shower. My 6'2" son was basically on his knees when he was trying to get shampoo out of his hair. The couches in the living room are terribly uncomfortable and bad for one's posture. However, somehow the location makes up for most of these shortfalls as the pool and jacuzzi are 10 feet from the door. The owner should do the right thing and spend a couple thousand dollars on this property (furniture and fixtures). Otherwise, we had a great time there.

Great spot! Could not have had a better location! We never had to get into our car. Everything we wanted to do was a beautiful walk away. The creek was right outside our door and only added to the beauty of this condo. The only criticism we have is the shower head in the master bath is very low. No problem for me, as I'm 5'1", but for others it would be a challenge. We left in the evening, but if people needed to leave early it is good to know that there is a farmer's market right outside the garage and 100s of people in the way, so it might be best to move your car. I think you could get out, but it could be dangerous and would definitely take some time. However, we had a great, great, weekend and the management staff was available for the smallest question.

Great Getaway We had a lovely time at our property and picked up our keys after hours and left them without seeing the management company. There is a challenge knowing where to park as it is secluded and on a street that says you cannot drive on it... so better or more cautious directions would have helped. Also upon leaving we left the parking pass in the envelope with our keys and were called several times in a panic from the person on duty she said she had not looked in the envelope herself but that the parking pass was missing which was not the case. So just check before calling the guest about things, and it would have left no impression at all, but calling in a panic was not a great way to end a lovely stay.

The property was great convenient to the village and skiing and being on Gore Creek was lovely... thanks for a great stay, just a few hiccups with the management co.

About 30 yards from the sliding back door off the dining area was a beautiful view of the rushing mountain stream with Vail village on the other side of the stream. Great amenities including a pool and hot tub, great location - easy walk to the slopes (about 8 minutes), right in town - really don't even need a car once you are there. Great service from Gore Creek Properties!

This property couldn't be better located. Easy to get everywhere, right by the pool/hot tub and easy access to a bus stop. We were comfortable, happy and very much enjoyed our stay.

The condo is in a great location! It's so easy to unload luggage at the patio door. We also loved the hot tub and pool so close to the back door. The interior is a bit dated but the location makes up for that. The management team needed to send arriving instructions earlier. I received the email the day after I arrived. They did respond to questions when I called and gave me a cell number for emergency. Thank you!

Great location right in Vail Village, and close to everything. Shops, slopes, everything else. Pool and hot tub right out the door. Management company is local and accessible via phone (weekdays) The only complaint (not really a complaint) is to bring a cart to haul all your stuff from the road. If you park in the garage first, its up and down a couple set of stairs, as the unit is on the first floor.

Location was awesome!! We had a great stay at this property. Perfect size mom, dad and two adult children. Loved how close we were to the hot tub! Short walk to the gondola and all that Vail village has to offer. The condo was equipped with everything we needed. Shower heads are low but nothing we couldn't deal with.
We will be back!
fantastic location and wonderful stay. only consideration is that the elevator doesn't access the 1st floor so you have to walk up and down a flight of steps with luggage. i'd rent it again though and thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

We visit Vail since many years.

Great time at Vail, as usual.

We loved our stay in Vail. The location was so ideal for everything.
The condo was nice, close to the hot tub and pool. The kitchen was well equipped. The garage was included and the internet. I would say the only thing negative, were the couches in the main room, were a bit tired but not awful. I would rent this condo again.

My almost 82 year old mother, my wife and I spent three nights. It completely met our needs including a fully stocked kitchen that enabled us to cook a couple great meals. Within a few minutes walk to almost any place in Vail village including shuttle buses. About 30 yards from the sliding back door off the dining area was a beautiful view of the rushing mountain stream with Vail village on the other side of the stream. Being on the first floor and 10 feet from the pool/hot tub just outside the sliding door also made this a perfect place. I highly recommend this unit. It exceeded our expectations.

Location beside Gore Creek was the best. Very convenient. All the amenities we wanted. Could have used a few more towels, but that was a very minor issue. Pretty much a perfect vacation experience!

We had a lovely time at our property and picked up our keys after hours and left them without seeing the management company.

Ski trip with 2 teenagers. Great location. Very comfortable condo. Loved being by Gore Creek and on the ground floor. Only comment I would make as feedback would be the shower heads are very low. Water pressure is great but we are all tall and had to duck down to shampoo. Would not keep me from staying there again but would be great if that could be fixed.

This condo is absolutely located in a prime area - on the creek and close to the pool. The only negatives - which are prettt major negatives - are brick hard pillows and beds making it very difficult to get a good nights rest. We left early for this reason alone. the owners should spend a few bucks on down pillows to make the stay more enjoyable.

It's all about LOCATION! Although the condo is extremely nice, the best part is the ground level patio that looks directly on Gore Creek in Vail Village. We've stayed at a lot of nice places in Vail over the last 20 years, but this was THE BEST - walking right to the water, on private property. We loved every moment.

This condo is in the perfect location in Vail Village, right on the stream and in the center of the action without being loud or too busy.

The rental unit needed some work.
