As you drive down the quiet road, you will have a sense of the privacy the villa has to offer. Upon walking through the first set of grand entrance doors, you will be greeted by a protected open courtyard. Looking up at the princess balcony off the master bedroom on the second floor, you will feel like Romeo and Juliette on a bright, breezy summer day. After walking through the second grand entrance doors you will find yourself in a large, open plan reception gallery.
Brightly decorated with Caribbean colours, the Reception Gallery is spacious, culturally decorated with cane and teak with modern comforts such as bean bag chairs, entertainment center (with TV/DVD/CD) and a library of videos to choose from. At the far end of the room is an attractive staircase that leads to the Master Bedroom. Otherwise, peer through the four French doors that lead to the front and side terraces.
Dining alfresco under a shaded terrace is West Indian style that Antigua is known for. You will have the option to dine outside on a large wooden table that comfortably seats ten persons, or inside on a large round table in the dining area.
The ‘piece de resistance’ is the 500 sq ft master bedroom on the first floor with it’s own 30ft sea view terrace and a rear princess balcony overlooking the courtyard. This beautiful, light room has windows on two sides and breathtaking views of the sea. With a polished wood floor, the main bedroom has a King size (US Queen size) four poster bed with mosquito netting and other fine pieces of antique furniture. The private ensuite bathroom has a bath and separate shower, walk in wardrobe and TV/DVD/CD player with ipod docking station.
The second double bedroom is also upstairs and has its own private balcony overlooking the gardens and sea beyond. Its own bathroom is right next door.

Bedrooms four and five have twin beds - each with a pull out bed giving large families the option of sleeping four in each of these rooms. Both bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. All bedrooms have personal safes, air conditioning, shutters with mosquito screens and all beds have mosquito nets.
The well-equipped kitchen with open vaulted limed wood ceiling has a fridge/freezer; gas oven and range; dishwasher; coffee machine; microwave; blender; toaster as well as all the usual kitchenware.
The south-east facing terrace is completely enclosed with a low level fence with gate leading to the pool area and garden. The attractive pool has a natural feel with a river pebble border and Antiguan sand stone decking leading to the gazebo. It is well protected by shrubs and plants. There are plenty of comfortable sun loungers to use at the pool, on the terrace or at the beach. While this home is not advertised as beach front, it does have its own small beach, which can sometimes be rough as it is facing the open sea. Of course, Antigua is home to 365 beaches, many in close proximity to the villa.
The garden has an ‘island’ feel to it – planted with banana, coconut, mango, papaya, hibiscus, flamboyant, sea grape and may other indigenous plants. Some well established palm and almond trees provide welcome shade from the strong sun. A large lawn area doubles up as cricket pitch, football field and many other uses!
Where the garden meets the beach, a secluded barbecue area has been created with home-made rustic benches and a hammock. A garden shower can be found at the gazebo.
The staff are there to make sure you have a relaxing holiday. A housekeeper comes every weekday (except public holidays) and there is an on-call property manager, gardener and pool service attendant. this home is a relaxing ocean front getaway, with all the privacy expected from an exclusive villa.
