Payments & Deposit

Payment Methods
For payments made via credit card and/or Paypal, there is a 2.00 percent surcharge.

Booking Deposit
The booking is confirmed with a deposit of 25 percent of the rent.
Payment Balance
Balance of payment is due 45 days prior to arrival.
Booking Cancellation Conditions
If you cancel anytime, payments (less 15 percent) are refunded if the property is re-rented.
Cancellation of anytime is allowed but the payment will not be refunded unless the nights are re-rented. If the nights are re-rented then the monies will go towards your refund to a max of 90% of the amount you paid.
Security or Damage Deposit
A refundable security/damage deposit of 500 CAD is due 45 days prior to arrival.

The unit was compact but comfortable for the 2 of us. Bedrooms remind me of NYC or Paris condos, just enough room for bed and a night table. Unit would be ok for 4 or more as space is effectively used. Loved the new appliances and dishwasher and washer and dryer. Spring skiing in a snowstorm meant wet gloves, jackets, etc and we were so happy we could throw our wet gear in the dryer at lunch!!
Friendly manager. Best ski-in/ski-out location we've been at Big White.
Downside--it's next to a very popular pub, Seasons. We chose to sleep in the bedroom farthest from the pub. Not a problem on Friday but Saturday when the pub let out, it was noisy. Otherwise, this place would have 5 stars. But who knows what pub will be popular next year??

The unit itself is great, perfect location for skiing, clean and affordable.
HOWEVER, I did not realize the proximity of one of the bars and we were awake until after the bar closed every night.
Also this unit is situated at the bottom of a long set of stairs, this is also a MAJOR walkway to access the bar. There are gates that get locked and the lovely bar patrons stand outside the bedroom windows discussing how to climb over, and this provides a good time for a smoke break, while they figure it out.
I would not suggest this unit for a family. The noise and disruption at night is awful. Waking up every morning ready for fresh/first tracks and having to dodge beer cans, smoke butts and vomit was not our ideal. We contacted the unit manager and was told this is how it is and some people have requested that particular unit for the location. Perhaps if we were young and into the bar scene.
I have not contacted the owner, not sure what to say. :(

This condo has repeat customers every year and has several customers who have been coming back for over three seasons. They are not young and into the bar scene. I have families that come back each year as well. They have stayed year after year and never complained about the noise from the bar and certainly never complained about this set of concrete stairs. The stairs do get used to access Rakels, lotus lounge, and skiers even use it to access the ski run. The stairs are locked at 11pm every night. This was obviously an isolated incident where no one took control to ask the bar patrons to move along. I personally have stayed there where a few people were talking outside and I asked them to move along. A polite request can go a long way. There is security and RCMP at Big White to deal with different situations if people aren't comfortable. This location is ideal for a ski vacation and is very affordable for anyones budget. It is always a good idea to do a little research and ask questions before you book.

Getting there was not a problem as Big White Shuttle was very prompt and took us to our suite. The place was just big enough for use. Location was pretty good but the bar that is located adjacent to the place was loud at night. We were expecting a nice warm relaxing hot tub but to our surprise the Hot Tub was closed with no explanation.

We stayed 3 nights in the month of Feb. 2013. I was told only days before we arrived that the hot tub doesn't work and only because I contacted the owner regarding a question I had. I did receive a discount but the hot tub appeared to be broken for awhile. This condo is located right next to a pub. Unfortunately smokers would gather outside and after the pub closed there was a lot of noise interrupting our sleep. The two hide-a beds were not suitable to sleep on. The mattresses were in very poor condition. Good ski in ski out. Close to villiage.

The hot tubs are operated and maintained by the strata. They were not shut down because the strata wanted to shut them down. They are currently being engineered to meet a higher standard. The location of the condo is a great ski in ski out location that is close to Rakels pub. The strata has put up gates that get locked every night to avoid loud people gathering in our complex parking lot. They can not control people outside of the bar but I will let the bar manager/owner know of the problem you had. I will address the hide-a-bed mattress ASAP. Thank you for your comments.

We have stayed for 3 nights during last weekend of the early season. The property was tidy and does have a well stocked kitchen and nice TV. The hot tub had issues so property manager showed us the alternate one in the same complex. The property is very close to village center and has a pub just on the other side of the fence. The ski-in ski-out is great. We did use the fireplace (had to clean up air intake from the snow) and it added very nice cozy feeling during the evening. Overall we had a great time!
