Sheridan Lake Accommodations

Sheridan Lake Travel Guide
Sheridan Lake, British Columbia, Canada is located in British Columbia's Cariboo Country. Sheridan Lake has a reputation as being a producer of monster Rainbow trout and attracts anglers from all corners of North America. Sheridan Lake, located in the Interlakes district of Cariboo Chilcotin, is 1659-hectares (4098 acres) and spring fed, with miles of shoreline and shoals. It is well stocked, 300,000 annually, many reaching trophy size. Rent holiday lodgings directly from owners of chalets, cabins, house rentals, and vacation rental accommodations at Sheridan Lake, British ColumbiaThe average Rainbow trout caught weighs 3 pounds, but fish over 10 pounds are commonly caught every year. This is due to the abundant shrimp and insect populations that encourage a rapid growth rate. Easy access and heavy angling doesn’t matter, because the challenge of catching the average and larger than average Rainbows is not diminished nor hampered.

The heavily forested rolling hills surrounding the lake are dotted with vacation rentals and residences. The lake itself has many small islands which can provide adventures of their own.

Our vacation rental accommodations and lodging at Sheridan Lake are open year round for fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. Sheridan Lake features over 208 kilometers (130 miles) of mapped and signed trails maintained by the Interlakes Snowmobile Club, the Sheridan Lake Quad Squad and The Friends of Sheridan Lake Society. These trails are suitable for hiking and mountain biking during the warmer months, and for cross-country skiing and snowmobiling during the winter. Enjoy a relaxing stay at your vacation rentals.
