The first time ever driving down the 1,200 foot long gravel drive and approaching this cozy little cabin you come to realize just how far off the beaten path it really is and how secluded it is from the outside world. Whether you start your getaway spending some time on the concrete patio relaxing in a furnished piece of patio furniture while grilling on our charcoal grill and playing a few rounds of corn hole that's available onsite you'll soon realize just how peaceful your stay is going to be. When spending a relaxing evening on the patio and watching all the wildlife mother nature has to offer like whitetail deer, coyotes, turkeys, sand hill cranes, and more you'll also be able to enjoy watching the setting sun while sitting around an open camp fire completely supplied with cut, split, and stacked fire wood all while trying your hand at making some smores over the fire pit. At the end of your evening capping off the day with a refreshing hot shower before crawling into a queen size bed is nice and it also includes a bed side fan for those of you that like to sleep with a fan running. Start your morning off with a fresh hot cup of coffee outside on the patio while watching the sun rise and listening to the morning sounds of nature. This cabin location also offers easy access to numerous outdoor activities in SW Michigan ranging from a short 2 mile drive to Love Creek Nature Center, fishing off the banks of the St. Joe River, or maybe trying your hand on a slot machine at Four Winds Casino Dowagiac, playing a round of golf at Indian Lake Hills Golf Course, trying a glass of locally made wine at Lemon Creek Winery (just one of many Winery's to choose from in the area) or simply enjoying a day at one of the beautiful beaches on the shores of Lake Michigan. All of these activities are within a short 20 minute drive or less from the cabin.
