An impeccably finished colonial style property with a wood-burner, hot-tub & deck. A great place for couples, 2 couples or families (flexible bed configuration in 2 en-suite bedrooms (2 x king or 1 x king + 2 Singles)). An idyllic & peaceful countryside location yet conveniently located for beaches, creeks, Falmouth University, countryside walks, National Trust properties & great places to eat and drink. A perfect place to escape, relax and enjoy Cornwall. The Beeches is a completely self contained annex to the owners main property. It was completed in late 2020 and has been finished to an incredibly high standard. Downstairs is a large open plan area incorporating oak flooring (with underfloor heating), wood-burning stove (complimentary logs are provided on arrival), a luxuriously fitted kitchen (with dishwasher and washer - tumble drier) and separate dining area. Furniture has been sourced from Ercol, known for their quality and comfort. The property is equipped with a sony TV (Netflix and internet TV capable - although you will need your own Netflix account), high speed wi-fi and a blue-tooth music system. Upstairs are two bedrooms both with luxury en-suite bathrooms (one en-suite has a stand-alone bath for that essential soak). One bedroom has two single beds which can be securely joined together to make a king (please let us know how you wish this to be configured when you make your reservation). We only use high quality cotton bedding. Both bedrooms enjoy beautiful views over Carclew Estate and at the right time of year, you will see the ruins of Carclew House (once one of Cornwall's great houses owned by the Bonython and then the Lemon families, but destroyed by fire in 1934). Outside, you can dine on the deck and enjoy the views over the fields and woodland of Carclew Estate. A four person hot tub will be ready for you to unwind at the end of your busy day and a gas BBQ is available for al-fresco dining. There are often horses in the field and the area is abundant with wildlife. Pheasants regularly roam through the garden and the keen eye may also spot the odd fox, badger, rabbit and any number of different species of bird.
