You will receive 1 round trip car ferry pass for each two night stay. Your arrival and departure day are given to you.

There are no cars permitted within the resort. Our bell staff will pick you up after you register in our reception center and take you and your luggage to your villa.

Please note that the car ferry stops running at 10PM weekdays, 11PM Friday night, and 12 midnight on Saturday.

Damages: Please report any damage to our Reception Center atimmediately. We reserve the right to charge the credit card on file for any damages that occur during your stay.

Our stay in Marina Villa was wonderful. The property was very comfortable, clean and convenient for us. We especially enjoyed the marina view, it was so pretty and a pleasure to have our morning coffee out on the veranda.
The girls that helped with reservations and general information were great, so professional and accommodating.
The bedding was sufficient but could use some upgrading, (pillows, blankets, coverlet etc.) they were very clean which is most important. The bathroom sink and shower were a bit slow to drain but otherwise clean and comfy. The office for welcome packet ,keys and such could use a major renovation, however the staff were very nice, happy and smiling:) Overall it was a very satisfying stay for us.

Food at Rumbay restaurant was great. Wait staff the best. Our accommodations were adequate and clean. We were surprised to learn we had 3 flights of stairs. Captain Denis on the water taxi was fun and courteous.

This location is convenient for boaters and is less expensive than most “on island” rentals. It is not convenient for use of Palm Island due to the barge and water taxi and its charges. Check in can be challenging and units are dated.

Staying here was probably one of the best stays we have ever had anywhere. What a wonderful condo. The balcony was so nice to sit on and enjoy the marina view and the sunrise and sunset. Taking the water taxi over to the island was so much fun. The island was a beautiful place and a beautiful beach.

We recently stayed on the harbor side of Palm Island resort. We had a lovely time and enjoyed sitting out on the patio, watching the lovely boats coming in and out of the marina. The view is amazing! Looking forward to our next visit! The only difficulty we ran into was trying to contact the office at Palm Island resort. We were never able to get in touch with the personnel there, and when prompted to leave a message, the voicemail was always full.

We have stayed in these condos before and felt our last condo was more updated, efficiently stocked, cleaner and more welcoming than this condo. Our needs were met until we got some wine glasses out to enjoy a bottle of wine however there was no wine opener in the condo.
We had to call to request a set of sheets for the hide-a-bed as they had not left any other sets. Somewhat disappointed only because we have amother experience to compare it to.

The condo was very clean and had all the amenities needed. Big problem with the shuttle boat. Capt was drinking and was sprinkling a little rain. He said shuttle is shut down for rest of day. It was 3:30pm and rain stopped and sun came out at 6pm. We could not go to dinner at Rum Bar and drove into Englewood to eat. Dave had a very bossy and belligerent attitude in his explanation why the shuttle was being shut down. We later were told this old boat capt named Dave has had numerous complaints against him by guests. Resort Mgt needs to address the attitude problem with Dave. That is main reason for low reviews for our stay at the resort...

Moved in for 2 months. Bathroom sink plugged up. A couple of cockroaches. Must not have been sprayed on a schedule. Thermostat broke. Bit up by bedbugs on sleeper sofa. Had to put cover on old holy mattress to keep bugs from getting out.
Put trays around couch on floor. Paid $4,500 a month. Should have been given back some of our money for this stay.

My husband and I have stayed at Palm Island in the past and we were always very pleased with our rental. However this year we were very very disappointed. The condo was very outdated and many things were not in good working order. The shower did not drain properly some kitchen items were either missing or not working. The bedroom was dark and uninviting. Unfortunately we will never come back!

Experience was not what I expected. The condo needs updated furniture , definitely a new mattress. There was no WiFi available. Contacted customer service about that , but they were not able to resolve the problem. There is construction work taking place on the marina, so unable to use porch during the work day due to noise. Thankfully, the work stopped about 4:00 pm. Dryer in the unit was not working. The condo was clean and did have a very nice kitchen.

This was my 2nd time renting the one bedroom marina villa at Palm Island Aqua Marina....just as good as the first. The villa was extremely clean, great location, with easy access to Sarasota or Naples. Look forward to visiting Southwest Florida again in the future and renting at Palm Island Aqua Marina!

Our condo was very comfortable and overlooked the marina. It was nicely furnished and the kitchen contained all the equipment we needed to cook meals. There is a nice screened balcony to enjoy. The condo is conveniently located with quick access to the surrounding area. There is a dedicated parking space for the unit.

Most enjoyable time away. The location of Palm Island Marina was perfect; quiet with easy access and convenient to many attractions. The condo was likewise perfect; clean, spacious, furnished with many amenities, and most important .... lots of sunlight with a great view. Checking-in and out couldn't be easier. Would definitely recommend the location/condo to others. Look forward to returning!

We did not received final instructions for check in and had to call the contact person. We ran out of hot water every time we took a shower .There are only 2 of us and we took showers hours apart. The TV remote in the bedroom did not work and the floor was filthy - but rest of the apartment was clean.

The rental itself was clean and well taken care of. We very much enjoyed our stay. We had access to the pool and the island. We were glad we stayed on the mainland. We felt we had more to do. The island is quaint but the restaurant is similar to the restaurant on the mainland.

Great location and lovely condo. We have stayed at this property several times now. Master bedding(frame broken) and pillows need to be replaced, very old and uncomfortable. We will not stay in this unit again until bedding upgrades are made.

we stayed at the Marina and were glad we did. Due to the intense Red Algse bloom, I could not stay on the island for any length of time without getting sick. As we were at the marina, we avoided the Rec Algae and were able to go to other beaches easily as well as shop and sight see.
Restaurant was very good, pool hot tub and harbor madter's deck made for great sunset event.
Bed was comfortable, room suited us well. We hope to return someday.

If you want a place to just relax and enjoy, this is the place! Our condo was at the Marina, and we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony every morning watching the boats, etc. The only thing I didn't like, is that there was no internet connection at the condo. There isn't much to do at the Marina, but we rode the "free" water taxi over to the island and spent a few hours at the beach. It was very relaxing, and not many people there. We saw 6 dolphins playing in the water on our way over to the island, and also on the way back. There is a restaurant, (Rum Bay) on the island, and a little general store, ice cream shop, etc., but not much else. Leverocks Restaurant is located across the parking lot from the condo, and you can look out and see the water and boats while dining. There is also a very nice pool at Leverocks to enjoy. If you want to relax, enjoy the beach and pool, and just kick back without alot of activity, this is the place for you!

We were delighted to be overlooking the marina and crafts coming and going, from our balcony. Our unit was well decorated and had little extras to make it a very relaxing site. Loved that Leverocks great eatery was just a few steps away.Would highly recommend this resort to those who love water front and relaxation.

We took our 23' CC from Cape Coral to Palm Island Marina with two other couples for a two night stay in the Marina Villas. My wife and I had stayed there twice before but it was the first time for the other couples. We booked three villas and a slip for the boat.

When we arrived two of the marina personnel were there to greet us and hand us our check-in packages so we did not have to go across the street and get them as we had been directed. We really appreciated that service.

We explored the intracoastal in the boat, traveling as far as Venice and very much enjoyed all the scenic beauty and sights and sounds of the waterway. Back at the marina we spent time at the pool, which is very large, and also spent some time in the the hot tub. The pool area is very nice and a great place to socialize and relax after a long hot boat ride. We also enjoyed walking around the marina looking at all the boats and even checked out one or two that were for sale.

We dined both nights at Leverocks. My wife and I ate there on both previous visits and always enjoy their food and service. We also stopped for lunch at the nearby Tiki Hut restaurant while out on the boat where we enjoyed the water view.

Two of our three villas were updated and nicely decorated as well as comfortable. One was not as nice as it had not been updated and the couple who stayed there said the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. All of them had ample supplies of cooking and food preparation utensils and were clean.

Other than the uncomfortable bed we all had a good time and are even talking of a return visit.

Was off season and we stayed on marina side. More choice for evening dinner choices. Water taxi was limited time so was always rushed when we went to the beach or restaurant on the island. Everyone very nice. unit we were in the furniture was not comfortable but you are staying in someone else house. Over all relaxing trip. Car Ferry and off the island is $55.00 round trip and you only get one free ride with room.

The condo was very cute but the ants were a big problem as were the ant and roach disks throughout the condo in plain sight and on the kitchen counter (big turn off) I didn't even want to cook in the kitchen... Location was nice but the water taxi should run more often so we could go over to the beach in the morning...

Got off to bad start. Didn't receive information pack in mail. Couldn't find check In. Phoned and office closed as Saturday. Eventually received call that check in information was in drop box outside closed office. Went to condo, key didn't fit because we had been given a different condo on check in. Found new condo but key didn't fit so called again. New keys made and hand delivered to us at restaurant. Now we started our vacation! from here on we had a fantastic time. However we were only contacted once by a rep and that was at 8:00 pm while we were having our final evening dinner. We hadn't needed anything but after the difficult start we had we feel an earlier call would have been more professional. With regards to Alan P from Placida - this is incorrect as Alan P is from The Villages.

Overall, the experience was positive. The one bedroom unit we used was in great condition, well maintained and clean. The pool area was also in great condition and very clean. Exceot for the island itself, the area immediately surrounding the marina was not very picturesque or interesting. We went for a walk and were somewhat disappointed. A few miles away, such as in Boca Grande or Englewood Beach, the environment was much nicer.

The unit was updated, although I'm not sure what made it "deluxe". It was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Our only complaint would be the mattress, bed frame and pillows. Those could use some updating as well. The reservation staff were very pleasant and accommodating.

The cleaning company had cleaned the place spotless, but the cushioned furniture was dirty. I'd recommend that covers be brought by renters if they don't want to be sitting on dirty cushioning.

Accommodation was excellent. Location good - we stayed at the marina. Hard to find the check in desk - no signs. Had to phone to find out where to go. Next day visited Palm Island took the car over on the ferry. Didn't know that we couldn't drive around the whole island, had to walk around the resort. No signs on the island to tell you where the coffee shop was, the golf cart rental shop, or where Rum Bay Restaurant. We actually walked past Rum Bay Island as the sign was not visible from the road. I would suggest more signage and perhaps giving guests a map show where everything is. Island a bit disappointing very rugged not what I was expecting. I thought there would be more lush manicured landscaping.

I was at Palm Island Resort to enjoy participating in the Platinum Point Yacht Club Holiday Cruise to Palm Island Marina. The resort was wonderful. An afternoon on the beach by the Gulf of Mexico yielded literally dozens of fossilized sharks' teeth in just ten or so minutes of shelling. Lunch at Rum Bay was tasty and offered a very interesting variety of choices. The beverages were enticing, the ice cream and coffee delicious. Also, the food supplied our club by Leverock's, a restaurant on the property, was great. Tim and his crew at the Marina were pleasant, helpful and professional. The resort supplied judges for the Holiday in Paradise boat decorating event and Megan, Lisa and Brett were truly wonderful and enthusiastic. I highly recommend the resort.

Always enjoy the Harborview side of the resort when fishing Charlotte Harbor. We love a ferry ride in the late afternoon for a walk on the beach and a sunset.

Unfortunately, the unit we were in(at the marina) smelled musty and desperately needed to be opened up and aired out, the bed was one of the most uncomfortable we have slept in, and the hot water did not last through a shower. Last but not least, a resort in this day and age should always have internet access available to it's guests even if a fee is charged for it. The resort seems more focused on the Island Properties.
We liked the location. Other than the smell, the unit was clean and cute. We would need to give it another try before we could recommend the resort to a friend.

the place needs a re-do. peeling formica in the kitchen and bathroom, all cabinetry screams 1980. furniture was okay but could also use updating. great to have a flat screen t.v. in the living area, and a 2nd t.v. in the bedroom. new dishwasher and the regrigerator was exceptionally clean and worked well. didn't use the range or the washer/dryer.

2nd time visitor same complex,but this unit was sort of dingy with a poor view.Sofa and chair coverings in living room had years of grim on them among a couple of other gross things...unit in the 1100 building was much better...with alot of empty units, was not happy being put in this unit.also no FL. res. or AAA discount it was a wasted weekend for us...

We usually stay on our boat thee but it was gettng repaired and our friends came to stay on their boat for the weekend so we joined them by staying in the condo. It was very nice and we enjoyed out stay very much.

Villa was clean and comfortable, and the location was great. Rental process was very easy. We enjoyed our visit, and would highly recommend Palm Island Resort.

We booked this appartment as we have a boat on the marina and of course the location is ideal. However the cost is a bit on the high side but as always it comes down to loacation and for us it was just right .

We regret that you don't offer anymore a round trip by ferry for each night of the stay. That is a wrong way to cut costs. We also regret that the watertaxi to Rum Bay is not a free courtesy shuttle anymore. But overall, we had a wonderful time and hope to visit Palm Island once more in october 2008 or february 2009. We look forward to it!
