This 2-Bed 1-Bath Condominium can accommodate 4 guests for a minimum of 4 nights.

Now is the time to see the "Big Island". Our lovely condo is the best way to see and do it all. Our entry is at parking level but the roomy lanai is 1 story above ground. This 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo features a superb ocean view overlooking the pool that makes the Kona Reef resort unique. Mobility impaired friendly: no steps to the condo and only a few level feet away from your vehicle. Our property management office is onsite 4 units away (unlike most). Covid-19 protocols have been put in place including "deep" cleaning and sanitizing our condo before each guest arrives. Kona Reef is just a short walk to downtown shops, restaurants and bars and it has a no-seawall direct access to the ocean. Yet, when the door closes, peace and quiet ensues with fabulous ocean views.

This 1 BR unit features a clean and uncluttered tropical look with island touches throughout. Enjoy your air-conditioned living room. Enjoy the walk-in-shower with grab bar and the largest outdoor lanai in the complex. On our lighted lanai, you can converse normally without loud ocean noises and salt spray that affect the ocean-front units. Our condo is equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a full well-equipped kitchen with cookware, dinnerware, and dish washer so you don't have to do dishes after each meal. Flooring is bamboo and tile throughout. A 48” wall TV is in the living room with an integrated cd - DVD player and a 32" wall TV in the bedroom. The condo has a selection of books and dvd’s for your use. Boogie boards, Tommy Bahama chairs, noodles and beach towels, are provided; daily or weekly snorkel rentals are available less than a block away at Snorkel Bob's. There are ceiling fans to augment those trade wind breezes. Bring your cameras and binoculars to see dolphins and whales in season, parasailers, Hawaiian outrigger canoes and tropical sunsets right from the condo lanai.

Surfers and sunbathers gather daily at Honl beach which adjoins the property. A king bed in the bedroom and an exceptionally comfortable queen innerspring mattress in the sleeper sofa. Provide great sleeping for up to 4. All linens are provided. It is also equipped with high speed internet WI-FI, cable TV and Roku for streaming. We have a washer and dryer. Onsite management is available 24 - 7 to resolve any issues. A security safe is available in the condo. While very affordable, the Kona Reef has great amenities and friendly people, with an exceptional newly refurbished oceanfront pool and spa surrounded by palm trees where you can catch some sun and relax with a stupendous ocean-sunset view. A BBQ cabana in the pool area has four large gas grills where you can cook your meals and dine. The condo has a full set of BBQing utensils, plates and containers. And of course, if cooking is also something you want a vacation from, the Kona Reef is only two blocks to town. You can easily walk to many restaurants, shops, local markets and more. Enjoy the night life and return to quiet Kona Reef at the end of the evening. Whether you come to experience Kailua Kona’s iron man, the billfish tournament, Mauna Kea observatories, Hilo’s orchids and waterfalls, coffee plantations, Waikoloa golf, macadamia nut farms, sunset cruises, or swim - scuba with manta rays, Kona Reef is perfectly situated.

We enjoyed everything about our stay in this condo. It is in a perfect location. Very easy walk to the restaurants and shops of Ali'i Drive. Very affordable, very clean and very comfortable. It is well appointed with a Hawaiian style. Kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Close, easy parking right outside your door. Loved sitting out on the deck watching the surfers, looking for whales and watching some incredible sunsets. This will be our choice for our future vacations in Kona.

Everything about the process of booking was straightforward and professional. The unit is as described, upgraded and delightful. There are many nice touches such as a small-tool drawer with scissors, etc.; pool towels and beach umbrella; sealable plastic containers; left-behind sunscreen and lotions; and a room safe. The unit was quiet and had a fine view; A - C effective in the front, and fans kept the bedroom comfortable. I wasn't bothered by lights or noises from the parking area. Kudos to the owner! My only suggestion is that the Kona Reef association invest in a pool service that keeps the water in a better state. This is an ongoing issue that was not resolved by the recent remodel. I've not seen a common pool that allowed moss to grow between the tiles (near the steps) nor cloudy water most of the week.

This oceanside condo is both relaxing, and well appointed. We enjoyed the lanai, warm pool, cooling Pacific breezes, washer, and well setup kitchen. If you don't want to grill or cook on site, you can literally walk to varied eateries on Ali'i Drive, including the Island's best gelato. This air conditioned property with a fantastic view of the ocean and palm trees swaying on the breeze, was full of everything we needed in the kitchen, felt welcoming, and is well situated to explore and relax on the leeward side of the Island. The owner even included small touches to make our trip enjoyable, such as beach chairs, mats, and boogie boards. Where features were located and how they worked is clearly articulated and explained in a handy book. Just a short drive to fabulous beaches and destinations that comprise some of the best Big Island has to offer. A small beach is literally steps away, and what a treat it was watching the sunset from the property. Thank you for providing a lovely spot to call home while enjoying the treasures of the Kona side of Big Island. Mahalo!

This condo was as it was described. The place was great. Great location - beautiful view of the ocean as soon as you come into the kitchen and living room. The condo and the whole complex was immaculate. The owners take great pride in keeping the condo well stocked with everything you need (all the cooking equipment and beach equipment). The people in charge of the rest of the complex make sure the common areas are clean. It seemed (in my opinion) more geared towards families or people who were there to relax and not worry about people being rowdy and inappropriate, which was perfect for me. You had a pool and a barbecue area if you wished to use it. The condo is centrally located close to downtown and to several different beaches. You can access the ocean from the hotel, but it is not recommended because the area is very rocky and rough, but right next door there is a beach area. Believe me I was a little bit doubtful, but the pictures and the descriptions are accurate. It exceeded my expectations.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this condo! It was very clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. We loved being able to walk downtown and it was so close to some excellent beaches and snorkeling. We hope to be able to return in the future!

Very comfortable living space and lanai, great view of the ocean. Extremely well equipped kitchen. Easy walking distance to town and farmers market. We really enjoyed having a sandy beach a short walk away, and that the beach chairs were easily carried. Frequent very early morning trash pickup was quite noisy. The bedroom window coverings were inadequate to block the bright lights coming in from outside the condo, lighting up the bedroom all night. If that were resolved, we would come back because we really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed and everything was great. The property is clean and has easy walking access to restaurants and shops.. the unit was updated and the balcony was perfect for dining and whale watching. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again next year!

Perfect location with a nice view, walkable to Huggos on the Rocks (our favorite spot) and the shops in Kona. Easy 1st floor parking next to the front door. I loved the mini pantry items and washer - dryer. They had laundry pods but no liquid dish soap. I would definitely stay here again! The unit was nicely updated.

Our stay at the Kona Reef unit was superb! It is so tastefully decorated and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for a better accommodation. The view from the lanai was so beautiful that you felt that time stood still and you were just captured by the moment.

There are not enough words to describe just how wonderful this condo was for our family. Aside from its gorgeous artwork and furnishings, the condo provided us a daily view from the lanai of peace and beauty. The location is ideal for watching the morning surfers or strolling into town for shopping and a shave ice. As the ocean was a bit choppy during much of our stay, we sadly did not use the adjcent beach. However, a sea turtle did spend a morning eating its breakfast in the rocky tide pools just in front of the property. Perfection!

The location of Kona Reef is the best of both worlds - close enough to walk a few blocks downtown for dinner, drinks and shopping. The location of this unit is also the best - close to all amenities- the pool, parking, and the balcony has an excellent view of the ocean and sunsets. The unit is exactly as shown in photos, clean, well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The staff in the office were friendly and helpful, the property is very well maintained. We were very pleased with our stay and would definitely book this unit again.

This condo was a wonderful place to stay for our trip. It was clean, welcoming, and the layout was nice. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach chairs and umbrellas, and the condo also had snorkel equipment and boogie boards for use as well. We found that this condo offered everything we needed to make our stay more than comfortable. We enjoyed using the BBQs most evenings, and the pool area was great too. It was lovely to sit on the lanai and listen to the waves, and it also offered a great view of the ocean and evening sunsets. I would definitely stay at this condo again, and have no hesitations recommending it to people travelling to the Kona area. It was paradise.

We really enjoyed the condo at Kona Reef. The view was amazing, the condo was clean and nicely decorated, and fully equipped including extras like Boogie boards, cooler, BBQ supplies etc. The owner was very helpful and gave us suggestions for what to visit on the island and also wanted to ensure everything was good at the condo. Though fold out couches are known for being uncomfortable our boys noted this one was very comfortable. The office staff were also very helpful and friendly at Kona Reef. Kona Reef is very convenient because it is close to town yet far enough away that it is quiet. The pool and hot tub was really enjoyable. We would stay in this unit again.

It had everything I needed and then some. Linens were clean. Kitchen was immaculate. Good ice maker. Washer and dryer in unit. Great view of ocean. Pool area spacious with ample chairs. Grounds were immaculate. Plenty of hot water. Smart TVs. Excellent grilling area shielded from rain and sun. Ample parking. Close to shopping and restaurants in walking distance. WiFi was more than adequate. I hope to come back.

Our second time staying at the Kona Reef, first time in this unit. Absolutely perfect for my wife and I. Small, quiet, well maintained resort right on the beach and a few minutes walk to the main Kona stores and restaurants. This unit has an oversized lanai looking right over the patio and pool to the beach. Parking is right behind the back entrance door and our concerns of hearing any car noise were completely unwarranted. This unit is as quiet as the others and particularly convenient for my wife and I to bring our scuba gear in and out every day. We’ll be back!

We loved our stay in Frank’s condo at Kona Reed. The room was clean and nice. The view from the deck was a delight. So thankful too for the fans and air conditioning. The young man who handles the office is a star. He came to see why the fridge and freezer stopped working. He was so speedy as he dismantled the freezer compartment. Reset something. And dashed off. It started working beautifully. The location is awesome as well- and be sure to take the little hidden road (to right of front corner of property) to walk down to yummy restaurants and fun shops. We appreciate that the crowd is not loud drunk 20 Somethings. It is filled with older couples! People were super nice to us the couple times my 7 year old and I made time for the lovely ocean view pool. It was a great central location for a ton of excursions- We saw turtles, fish, coffee farms, and awesome scenery. It’s a perfect location for a fun filled family trip! Frank the owner is prompt at responding and a great guy. Definitely recommend you rent here! Just grab your swim suits and sunscreen and get your reservation. Frank’s got the cooler and everything else you’ll need for a great trip.

The condo was great! It was perfect for just the two of us. Not too big, and it didn't feel small. We had a chance to meet your neighbors who were a very friendly couple and they offered to help us with anything we needed. The location was close enough for us to walk each day to get food and do some shopping! This was a big perk, and something we liked better than our friends place farther down the road. We had everything we needed in the condo and more. Thank you for labeling each thing, it made it simple and easy to find and use anything we needed. The view of the ocean made each morning enjoyable to sit outside and enjoy a delicious cup of Kona coffee. The staff was polite and made us feel welcomed. We highly recommend the Manta night dive and Huggos! I do wish we would have found a good place to get meat and make time to grill. The condo complex was well kept and clean. We would definitely recommend your condo to friends and family and would stay in it again. We hope to be back sometime in the future. Mahalo!

The condo was fantastic. We arrived for check in after the office had closed and it took a little while to contact the after hours service to access the keys, but once we did there were no issues. We didn't require the office staff after that. The place is fantastic and we really appreciated the walking distance to the restaurants and bars. The aircon was also fantastic and appliances were in great condition. Overall, we intend to return to Kona and will opt to stay in your condo again. Many thanks for the easy communication and the opportunity to stay at Kona Reef!
