At Upstream Cottage, you are within walking distance to Climbmax climbing gym and several coffee shops as well as river access to float the river with shuttles available by Asheville Outdoor Center located just down the street and rentals through Zen tubing. You can even enjoy a relaxing float to the newly opened New Belgium brewery located just around the corner. You are only 15 minutes to Asheville Regional airport. You are essentially close to "everything" in and around Asheville. The home is accessed via only paved roads. With soaring vistas, upscale kitchen, outdoor spaces, and hardwood floors, you will immediately feel at home at Upstream Cottage. Come experience the easy life overlooking the French Broad, with walking access to Carrier Park, the River Arts District, while also being close to downtown Asheville. The great room, with stone fireplace, and fully equipped "Chef's" kitchen, is where everyone will want to gather to enjoy their time together inside the house. But, if you need some "alone time", there is plenty of space inside and out to find your own serenity. There are 3 outside porches/decks for ultimate outdoor relaxation. Kids & adults love getting out in and around the neighborhood community surrounding all of Carrier Park & explore the other outdoor areas provided nearby as well. The decks are just off the Kitchen/Great Room & out the upper level (off the Master Suite), and afford additional outdoor space to relax & unwind. There is also a quiet back porch & small fenced-in yard. While everyone enjoys the home and community amenities, you can also simply pull up a chair and take in the view, (the views, nature, the river & tranquility are spectacular!!), observe the night as it fills with stars, and watch the fire flies come out to play in your backyard.
