Our cottage is Located right in the Centre of Whitby just a few paces from Baxtergate, a pedestrian shopping precinct during the day, yet it is tucked just a few paces away in a Small Quiet Yard. It is about 1 min walk to the swing bridge and harbour and 5 mins walk to the beach. The Ex Fishermans cottage is believed to date from 1616 and is kept spotlessly clean by our professional cleaners. It has been upgraded to include 1 Large twin bedroom (first floor) and one double bedroom (with Smart TV and Wash Hand Basin) on the top floor. The shower room and Toilet is on the first floor. All rooms have exposed beams, Double Glazing and Central Heating. WiFi is provided free throughout. The is a smart TV in the lounge. The kitchen has full size built in 4 ring hob and oven. There is also a Fridge Freezer and Microwave Oven. Bedding is supplied - Bring your own towels. Sorry but we do not allow pets or smoking at our cottage.

Terms And Conditions
Booking Deposit
The booking is confirmed with a deposit of 30 percent of the rent. Long Term Stay booking is confirmed with a deposit of 200 GBP.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel anytime, payments (less 25 percent) are refunded if the property is re-rented.
Payment Methods
Credit card payments are not accepted. PayPal, Direct Bank Deposit, Personal Cheque. (Available for guests booking 14 or more days prior to arrival)
Payment Balance
Balance of payment is due 42 days prior to arrival.
Quiet Time Policy
There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of all neighbours.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is allowed, but outside only.

Security or Damage Deposit
A refundable security/damage deposit of 100 GBP is due 42 days prior to arrival. When warranted, the deposit (or portion thereof) is refunded within 14 days of departure.
