The Yucatn peninsula remains one of the most popular travel destinations in Mexico with visitors from around the world. Most tourists can be found on the white sand beaches and in the crystal clear waters on the Caribbean side, but as you will see the peninsula has much to offer.

Late February or early March Carnival comes. This religious holiday takes place at the height of the tourist season. The festivities include parades with floats and everyone dresses up in costumes.
