Nestled on the eastern coast of the vast, mysterious Yucatan Peninsula, The Mayan Riviera is home to some of Mexico's number one tourist destinations. Cancun with its beaches and state of the art hotels; The colonial city of Merida; Chichen Itza, the most famous and best restored of Yucatan's Mayan sites, and the divers paradise of Cozumel.

The Yucatn peninsula is quite different than the rest of Mexico. The feeling you have as you travel is more relaxed, more tranquil. This, no doubt, is due to the Maya and their history. Even the land around you seems different.
