For more intimate dining, try the upscale Birchwood.
Casa Vino has a wine bar that serves more than 100 different wines, specialty beers, and spirits. If a coffeehouse is more of your style for apres-ski relaxing, Kicking Horse Coffee is also a must-visit.
How to Get Here & Getting Around - The nearest airport is in Calgary. From there, take the Trans Canada Highway (Route 1) West as far as Castle Junction. This connects to Highway 93 South, about 90 km to Radium Hot Springs.
Within the town center, almost everything is within walking distance. Otherwise, the various parts of Invermere are somewhat spread out. You can drive to Invermere or rent a car (or a bike), depending on your itinerary.
When to Go - In Invermere, the summers are comfortable and partly cloudy, and the winters are freezing, snowy, and mostly cloudy. If youre looking to enjoy the warm-weather activities in the town itself, the best time to visit is from mid-July to mid-August.
