From June to August, airfare and rental rates increase a bit as families begin to arrive on the Big Island and the temperature rises very slightly. Rates decrease beginning in September towards November as the season for summer vacation ends. Avoid visiting in November though as it is the rainiest month on Hawaii's Big Island.
