Princeville, a major 9,000 acre resort is situated about 28 miles north of Lihue. This town is located on a 200 foot volcanic plateau on Kauai's north shore, overlooking Hanalai Bay. Hawaii's most challenging golf course, the Prince, is located here. This 390 acre course sits on the Pacific Ocean, winding up and down hills, through jungles, along streams, and over deep ravines.
